Delayed projects categorized as 'sick'

23 Health Ministry projects under the previous government, have been categorized as 'sick'.

Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says these projects -including the construction of hospitals and clinics - have seen massive delays, costing millions of ringgit in additional costs.

One example is the Rembau hospital project, which was supposed to have been completed in September 2016.

Dr Dzulkefly says from now on, the ministry will only offer construction contracts to companies with a good track record and financial standing.
