Majority of teens risk neck damage due to phone usage
Mar 18, 2018
A majority of teens are risking neck damage, because of how they look at their phones!
According to a UKM study, 75 percent of teenagers view their digital devices at odd angles, of between 45 to 60 degrees.
This puts a lot of pressure on their necks, leading to problems like stiffness.
The researchers pointed out that while neck stiffness from using gadgets doesn’t cause permanent effects, the pain can affect a person's performance at school or work.
Meanwhile, the survey also found that 25 percent of teens were shortsighted, but were unaware of it!
