Police everywhere have been busy dispelling rumours recently.
Perak police are the latest to step up to crush viral rumours of an oil spill on the road near Gunung Lang.
Johor police have also had to slam viral rumours claiming kids in the state were being kidnapped for organ harvesting.
Authorities have warned that action can be taken against anyone caught spreading lies.
