Oct 11, 2017

A national aquatics coach has pleaded not guilty to raping one of his trainees.

The coach was charged with raping the 20-year-old athlete at the diving gym of the National Aquatic Sports Complex in KL, on September 26th.

35-year-old Huang Qiang, originally from China, was arrested the next day after the victim lodged a police report.

Sources say the accused is married to a Malaysian and has permanent resident status, and has been working in the country for over five years.
