Malaysia wins another seven gold medals

Aug 28, 2017

Malaysia added another seven gold medals at the SEA Games today, including five from the rhythmic gymnastics team.

Pandalela Rinong also defended her title in the women's 10m platform diving event, while the other gold came from the Tunggal Putra silat event.

This means we have finally broken the century mark, with our medal tally currently at 103 gold, 70 silver and 69 bronze.

Our national contingent is now just eight gold medals short of our 111-gold target.

Second-placed Thailand are a long way behind with 58 gold.
