More disabled friendly KL transit system to be discussed

Rapid Rail will hold talks with associations that deal with the disabled, to make KL's rapid transit system more disabled-friendly.

The operator says it will try its best to accomodate the disabled, apart from improving its services from time to time.

This, as Rapid Rail also revealed that total ridership for the Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT line has surpassed the 7.4m million mark

It says since the line started operations last December, its been averaging a hundred thousand passengers per weekday, with the figure rising to 140 thousand on weekends.
