Malaysia wins first gold medal today

Malaysia has picked up its first gold medal of the day at the SEA Games.
It came via the lawn bowls team, after Fairul Izwan and Hizlee Rais won the men's pairs event, beating their oppoents from the Philippines.
This takes our medal tally to 69 gold, 46 silver and 45 bronze.
