Jul 27, 2017
There are currently about 180 forest-fire hotspots in six provinces in Indonesia.
Five provinces there have also declared states of emergency, as firefighters battle to put out the fires.
Dozens of people, particularly in Aceh have also been taken to hospital with respiratory problems, due to the thick smoke.
Meanwhile, back home, the Department of Environment's website shows that air quality in Malaysia remains between 'good' and 'moderate' levels.
