"Missing" military-grade radar equipment is actually in the Netherlands

Jun 29, 2017

The military-grade radar equipment, that was reported to have gone missing from the Port of Tanjung Pelepas in Johor, is actually in the Netherlands.

The Customs Department says the shipment was never missing, but had safely reached its destination.

However, the Department is carrying out an internal investigation to see if SOP's were followed when releasing the goods.

This, after The Star reported that the equipment was detained in Tanjung Pelepas on its way from Australia to the Netherlands, as it did not have the necessary permits.
