You won't have to worry about higher electricity tarrifs anytime soon.

The govt says despite higher costs, the tarriff wil be maintained at least until the end of the year.
The Science, Technology, Climate Change and Environment Minister says, the higher cost will be absorbed by a special fund named Kumpulan Wang Industri Elektrik.

The tariff in Malaysia is reviewed every six months and the next one is set for January next year.
