Teoh Beng Hock case to be reopened

The Attorney-General’s Chambers has ordered police to reopen the investigation into Teoh Beng Hock's death. 

Lawyers representing Teoh's family said the AG's Chambers felt it was necessary, based on a Court of Appeal finding that other unknown individuals were involved in his death. 

Teoh, an aide to a DAP leader, was found dead at the MACC's former Selangor headquarters in 2009 after several hours of questioning.

Ramkarpal first to be ejected from Parliament

DAP lawmaker Ramkarpal Singh has become the first MP to be ejected from the 14th Parliament.

This, after he referred to a group of UMNO Youth as 'gangsters'. 

The Bukit Gelugor MP was ejected by the Speaker after he refused to retract his remarks.

Wan Azizah: EPF for housewives to begin in 100 days

The Deputy Prime Minister has assured that the EPF contribution for housewives will be implemented in 100 days. 

Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail also clarified the RM50 aid will only be given to the first wives of Muslim men, as the men should be able to provide for their second and third wives.
