MH370 report reveals air traffic controllers may have breached SOP
Jul 31, 2018

The full report on the disappearance and the search and rescue mission for MH370 has been tabled in Parliament.
The 500-page report concluded that the flight's disappearance remains a mystery.
However, the report also highlighted a failure by Malaysian air traffic controllers to follow SOPs, when the plane disappeared.

Meanwhile, the Transport Ministry says it will review the report's safety recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
It will also conduct a thorough investigation over SOP breaches by air traffic controllers, and take action if needed.
