Retirees can make partial withdrawal from EPF account from next month

Dec 16, 2017

From next month, retirees will be allowed to make partial withdrawals from their EPF accounts, but it won't be in cash.

EPF told Sin Chew, those wanting to make a withdrawal will have to go to the counter, fill out a form and provide their biometric details for security purposes.

The money will then be banked into their accounts.

It also clarified the lowering of the miminum withdrawal from 250 ringgit to 100 per month, is to prevent overspending.
