7650 juveniles were reported missing between 2013 and 2016, most of which were actually teenage runaways.
According to The Home Ministry, most of those found said the reason they ran away from home, was either because they were seeking freedom, or following friends or lovers.
According to the statistics, teenage girls were more likely to run away, as their figures were no fewer than a thousand every year.
Meanwhile, parents are urged to be more vigilant as well as to monitor their child's movement both in real life and on online.
