Low blood supply in Sibu Hospital

The Sibu Hospital blood bank is critically low on blood supply, especially of the O positive and B positive types.

Officials say the shortage is due to high demand, adding that the blood bank also needs to ensure enough supply for 5 other hospitals in the central region.

Members of the public have been urged to contribute at a blood donation drive that will be held at a mall in Sibu this Friday.
