Boy in Pahang becomes 2nd fatality of the floods

A 17-year-old boy has become the 2nd fatality of the floods in Pahang.

The state remains the worst hit by the floods, as the situation there continues to worsen.

More than 9,200 people are evacuated in 6 districts, with Kuantan accounting for the majority.

While 41 schools are closed in Pahang, due to the floods.

The other states affected are Terengganu, Johor and Sabah, with a total of about 2,000 people evacuated and at least 24 schools closed.

There are also another 2 schools closed in Kelantan and Sarawak.
