Civil Aviation Authority finalizing plan to recover remains of MH370

Mar 08, 2018

The Civil Aviation Authority is finalising a plan to recover the remains of Flight MH370, in the event that the plane is found.

This comes as the private search for MH370 is still underway.

According to the NST, the recovery plan is being drafted now, so that it can be implemented immediately when the wreckage, or any of the plane's black boxes are found.

Today is the 4th year MH370 disappeared with 239 people onboard.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak marked the anniversary, by assuring that Malaysia remains committed to getting to the bottom of the mystery.

He adds, Malaysia is also pushing the global aviation community to take the necessary measures to ensure that such a tragedy never happens again.
