Couple pleads not guilty to abusing their daughter in Perlis

A couple in Perlis has pleaded not guilty, after being charged for abusing their 14-year-old daughter earlier this month.

The victim had suffered injuries to her head, face and hands after allegedly being beaten by her parents at their home in Kuala Perlis.

If found guilty, the suspects could face up to 20 years in prison or a 50 thousand ringgit fine or both.
