New MACC Chief shares dark truth behind resignation from previous posting

May 22, 2018

Newly-appointed MACC chief commissioner, Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull says his position was threatened several times, when he was first investigating the 1MDB case.

He even revealed, that a live bullet was sent to him, and he needed police protection during a visit to the US, because he suspected that he was being followed by Malaysian security officials.

Datuk Seri Shukri also claimed that witnesses in the case had disappeared, and his officers were purged and intimidated.

In response to the allegations, Home Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the IGP have vowed to launch an investigation, if he lodges a report.
