Any move to limit the operating hours of restaurants to midnight, cannot be rushed thru.
DPM Dato Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail says such a move will require negotiations with all the parties involved, and will have to be implemented in phases.

This comes as the DPM also said the government is considering a special tax on sweet beverages, to encourage a healthier diet.

The Prime Minister is not in favour of allowing political parties to set up branches in local universities, although he feels students should be allowed to talk about whatever issues they want to.
