The PM believes cryptocurrency can help ease corruption by creating a cashless society. 

However, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he has not decided on whether to approve the controversial Harapan Coin yet, because he has yet to find out how it works.

The Pakatan Harapan-linked cypto currency has been slammed by some quarters, who feel it is bad governance and unsafe.
