DAP's legal team to assist man who insulted beer promoter

DAP lawyers will be present with the man, who insulted a beer promoter, when he goes to the police station tomorrow.

The Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng says since he was the one who lodged a police report over the incident, the party's legal team will be accompanying the man.

The man has since publicly apologised for his actions and expressed regret over the incident.

Restaurant in fatal hit-and-run put tables outside approved designated zone

The restaurant in Serdang where a deadly crash happened on Sunday, had breached conditions for placing tables and chairs outdoors.

The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) says the restaurant had permission to, but they placed additional tables and chairs outside the designated area which was approved.

It's confirmed that action has been taken against the restaurant.

On Sunday, a pickup truck driver rammed into the restaurant’s customers seated outside, killing one customer and injuring four others.

KJ: No attempt to buy MPs on Polling Day

Khairy Jamaluddin has denied that there was any political manoeuvring by Barisan Nasional on May 9th.

The Rembau MP says he was with the former Prime Minister and former Deputy Prime Minister on the night of GE14's polling day.

Khairy was referring to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's latest allegations that there were attempts by BN to buy over Pakatan Harapan's Malay-Muslim MPs on May 9th in order to form the government.

Dual language signboards were approved last year

The approval of dual language signboards in Shah Alam was given during a Selangor state executive council meeting last year.

The Shah Alam City Council told Free Malaysia Today that all Chinese language signboards had been taken down and replaced with new ones.

On Monday, the Sultan of Selangor ordered all signboards there with two languages, to be removed and replaced with ones in Bahasa Melayu only.
