Water Safety Is No Laughing Matter
The Education Minister is upset that his suggestion for hotels to open up their pools for students to learn swimming has been made fun of.
Dr Maszlee Malik said water safety is not a trivial issue and should not be taken lightly.

He also clarified his suggestion for hotels to offer their pools is only a proposal and not a compulsion.
Parents and hotel associations had reacted badly to Maszlee's suggestion, with most of them concerned about safety at hotel pools.
Politicians Free To Enter Schools
An 10-year-old circular stating that politicians need permission to enter schools will be revised today.
The Education Minister says this is in the spirit of New Malaysia.
Dr Mazslee had been under fire for the past few days for saying Opposition MPs need permission to enter schools.
He has since clarified the permission applies to politicians from both sides of the divide.
Better Reproductive Health Programmes On The Way
Still on schools, the government is looking to enhance reproductive and social health programmes, in a bid to solve underage marriage and sexual harassment against children.
The DPM says such programmes are already available, but are being evaluated to see how they can bring about greater awareness.
