Vaping could soon be banned, as the government is working on new laws to regulate both regular and e-cigarretes.

It says currently, it is difficult to ban vaping due to the lack of laws governing the activity.
The Health Ministry says vaping will only be allowed by prescription, provided there is clear evidence that such e-cigarrettes can help chronic smokers kick the habit.

Five people were killed, when the bus they were in lost control and crashed into a road divider while travelling from Sandakan to Kudat in Sabah.
The bus was carrying 41 staff of a polytechnic and their families, who were heading home from a family day program.

And, the Women's Aid Organisation wants stalking to be made a criminal offence.

It says currently, stalking is NOT a crime here, which means there is little the authorities can do if someone were to repeatedly contact or follow the victims.
Because of this, it wants lawmakers to urgently pass the law to make stalking an offence in the Penal Code, and to introduce a restraining order against stalkers in the Criminal Procedure Code.
