MACC: there's no need to refer party hoppers to us

There's no need to refer party hoppers to the MACC.

MACC's commissioner said it's not a practice for political parties to use the anti corruption commission to screen potential members, neither is it appropriate.

He was responding to such a suggestion from BERSATU, in regards to ex-UMNO members joining the party.

Speaking of UMNO, president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's garden leave has failed to stem the mass exodus.

A former UMNO assemblyman in Langkawi has led 30 members on the island in quitting the party. 

This means 8 UMNO branches in Ayer Hangat will close down.

The Deputy Education Minister is getting tired of people asking her for contracts and support letters and wants them to stop.

Teo Nie Ching said this in a Facebook post where she shared photos of an email and a letter asking her for help and support for a project. 

The Pakatan govt has been very publicly opposed to closed tenders and under-table dealings.

University students are now free to participate in political activities on campus!

The Senate has approved amendments to the Universities and Colleges Act to give students more freedom to voice their political opinion.

And, DAP will not hesitate to leave Pakatan Harapan if their ideas are not in line anymore. 

DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang said the party will walk away if the govt abandons the objective of New Malaysia.
