Authorities have found the body of the man who died trying to save a family of 5

Feb 10, 2019

Abdul Bari Asyraf's body was found in Sungai Terengganu this morning.

He was fishing with friends when he saw a car plunge into the river and jumped in to save the family, but is believed to have suffered cramps while retrieving one of the victims, and drowned.

The 5 people in the car were rescued by other passersby.

The Housing and Local Government Minister has become the latest big name to be dragged into the degree scandal.

The media had earlier claimed Zuraida Kamaruddin graduated from the National University of Singapore, but a Twitter user said he couldn't find Zuraida's name on the NUS online portal.

The minister has since clarified she never claimed to have graduated from NUS and never authorised anyone to make the claim.

This comes after the Deputy Foreign Minister was accused of receiving his degree from a degree mill.

Thailand's Princess Ubolratana will not be running for president after all!

Her brother, the king issued the ban 12 hours after her candidancy was announced, calling the bid "inappropriate."

Princess Ubolratana had relinquished her royal title at 21 to marry a commoner, but after they divorced 11 years ago, she returned to Thailand, where she is still treated as royalty.
