Government studying best way to address child sex trafficking

The government is studying the best mechanism to address the child sex trafficking issue which targets Malaysia for such activities.
The Deputy Prime Mininster says efforts will be made to ensure the country doesn't become a destination for child sex trafficking.
She adds that the government will tighten rules to protect children from becoming sex slaves.
Malaysians arrested in Indonesia for abusing social visas

16 Malaysians have been arrested in Indonesia for abusing social visas in Palembang, South Sumatra.
Wisma Putra confirmed they were detained on January 9th.
The government is in talks with Indonesia to look into the welfare and health of the detainees as well as expediting the legal process.
Meanwhile, Malaysians have been reminded to adhere to immigration regulations of the country they are visiting by applying for the appropriate visa.
Baby croc spotted at Shah Alam lake

The Selangor Wildlife Department has urged the public to be careful while spending their leisure time at the Shah Alam Lake in Section 14.
This, after a baby crocodile was spotted wandering at the lake.
The Department believes that the reptile was released into the lake by some irresponsible people.
