Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim preparing to become PM

PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is stepping up preparations to become Prime Minister. 

Berita Harian reported Anwar saying, he has been meeting with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad more to discuss the tasks of a PM, so he can do a good job when the time comes. 

Anwar also assured there will be no changes in policy if and when he takes over as the 8th PM, but he might take a slightly different approach to things. 

RON 95 petrol price capped at RM2.08 a litre​

The cabinet has decided to cap the price of RON 95 petrol at RM2.08 - which is the current retail price. 

The Finance Minister says that means, even if the market price of oil skyrockets, RON95 users will still pay RM2.08

...but if the prices drop below that, consumers will pay cheaper prices. 

However, RON 97 and diesel will remain on a float system. 

Flexi working hours for select civil servants starts tomorrow

Tomorrow marks the start of a pilot programme testing out flexi working hours for select civil servants. 

But don't worry, Deputy Minister Hannah Yeoh says your important errands to government agencies will not be affected...

The pilot does not apply to government workers in educational institutions and healthcare services.
