Nazri Aziz to skip BN Supreme Council meeting

Barisan Nasional Secretary-General Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz has confirmed he will not attend the coalition's Supreme Council meeting on Friday, so that MCA and MIC will attend.

The two parties had threatened to boycott the meeting if Nazri attends.

Earlier, MCA and MIC railed against Nazri's racial comments during the campaign for the Semenyih by-election.

They also said that Nazri's appointment as BN's sec-gen was unconstitutional, as he was unilaterally appointed by UMNO.
