34 schools closed over chemical dumping incident

One of the suspects linked to the chemical dumping case in Pasir Gudang,Johor is expected to be charged in court tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Department of Environment will install gas detection monitors around Pasir Gudang to check on the air quality in the area.
The govt says this can help detect the toxic pollutants and other chemical compounds at different altitudes.
So far, 34 schools around the area have been instructed to close indefinitely.
KL among top cities in Asia for living quality

Kuala Lumpur is the 2nd best city in Southeast Asia, when it comes to quality of living.
According to a survey by Mercer KL was also ranked 10th in Asia.
Singapore topped the list of Asian cities, while KL ranked above places like Beijing, New Delhi and Tokyo.
Vienna, Austria was named best city in the world, followed by Zurich, Switzerland.

The researchers say this may be because mushrooms have high levels of a compound that acts as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory agent..
And this can protect brain cells from damage.
