Human vultures are preying on the needy in Pasir Gudang, Johor

Mar 16, 2019

Human vultures are preying on the needy in Pasir Gudang.

Authorities have received reports of people buying face masks in bulk, then reselling them at sky high prices.

This has caused a shortage in face masks, especially the specialised N95 masks.

As such, the Johor govt has urged suppliers and traders not to take advantage of the disaster to make a quick buck.

Meanwhile, the Melaka state government has dispatched 1,500 face masks to media reps covering the Sungai Kim Kim pollution.

This comes after some media personnel assigned to cover the disaster fell ill.

The number of affected people in the area have risen to over 4,000 while the state govt is looking into whether the chemical waste contained deadly cyanide.

NZ shooting victim to have his family by his side

One of the 2 Malaysian men injured in yesterday's Christchurch terror attack, will have his family with him as he undergoes a 2nd surgery.

Penang is flying some of his family members over to New Zealand, while government reps will go along to make sure he's taken care of.

At least 49 people were killed in the terror attack and 20 others seriously injured, but the Education Ministry confirmed none of them are M'sian students.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old shooter has been charged with one count of murder in count, and will face further charges in the days to come.
