Maszlee denies instructing Pasir Gudang schools to replace lost school days

Authorities still haven't decided if the schools affected by the chemical pollution in Pasir Gudang will need to have replacement classes.

The Education Minister says it will be up to the Johor Education Department to rule on the matter. 

Dr Maszlee Malik also denied a recent media report, which quoted him as saying that the schooldays must be replaced

Over a 100 schools in Pasir Gudang have been closed since earlier this month, due to toxic fumes from chemicals dumped into Sungai Kim Kim. 

KL-Singapore flight route crowned the world's busiet internation route

The KL-Singapore flight route has been crowned the world’s busiest international route, for a second straight year.

OAG, a global travel data provider, says the route operates a whopping 30 thousand flights annually, which also means 82 flights are being flown daily.

Overall, the busiest flight route is a domestic one in South Korea 

The route, between Jeju and Seoul has nearly 80 thousand flights a year, that's nearly 220 flights per day.

Close to 7 million adults diabetic by 2025

The Health Minister says it's concerned about the rise in diabetes cases in Malaysia. 

He says currently, some 3.5 million Msian adults suffer from the disease, which is one of the highest rates in the world.

If the trend continues, the number could double to 7 million by the year 2025.
