Mar 29, 2019

There will be no replacement classes for schools in Pasir Gudang, Johor that were forced to close due to the chemical waste duping.

Teachers, however, will have to put in the extra effort, to ensure they can complete the syllabus before the end of the school term.

Social media platforms should be responsible for content published on their site.

This is according to a survey conducted by Vase Technologies together with Astro Awani.

70% of over 700 respondents felt that social networks are responsible in providing info to the govt on dubious activities, such as terrorism.

Also, about 84% felt that social media companies should review and evaluate their content first before allowing it to be published.

Meanwhile, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says social media platforms should be punished for having inappropriate content on their site.

This, comes after Facebook admitted that the live video of the recent Christchurch terror attack was viewed 4 thousand times before it was removed from its site.
