He maintained his not guilty plea, on all 7 charges of misappropriating RM42 million of funds belonging to SRC International.

He was initially due to stand trial in February, but appeals by his lawyers over procedural matters saw his case put on hold until a judge last week ruled the trial should finally proceed.

The Attorney-General's Chambers has confirmed that Equanimity-the yatch once owned by fugitive Malaysian billionaire Jho Low is set to be sold to Genting.

Genting or its Special Purpose Vehicle company is to pay 126 million US dollars for the luxury vessel.

The AG says it's the best offer received in the 5 months that the super-yacht has been up for sale.

The yatch, which is said to have been built at a cost of 250 million dollars, is alleged to have been bought by Jho Low using money stolen from 1MDB.
