No more problematic passengers for e-hailing drivers

Grab has come up with a new way to keep e-hailing drivers safe, using facial recognition technology.

Passengers who want to call for a ride will have to download an app and take a selfie.

Everytime they use the app, the phone number will be matched against any complaints they might have against them, including being aggressive towards drivers.

Grab is hoping this tech will keep drivers safe and also promised to keep the personal details of passengers private.
