How 'bout a reward for being a responsible driver?

Well-behaved drivers could get their reward soon. 

The government earlier suggested for drivers who have no outstanding summonses or traffic offences, to be given a reduction in insurance premiums. 

The Transport Minister says talks with the General Insurance Association of Malaysia on the proposal is in the final stages.

Change takes time, it doesn't just happen

The government is not a magician, says the Finance Minister. 

Lim Guan Eng says Pakatan needs more time to restore the country's economy, due to the huge debts left behind by the previous Barisan Nasional government. 

This comes ahead of the coalition's 1-year anniversary as government next Thursday.

Tun M suggests automation to reducing dependency on foreign workers

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad believes automation is the key to help reduce Malaysia's dependency on foreign workers.

"Moving towards digital IBS technology will enable developers to build cheaper homes in a shorter period of time, It's also less labour-intensive, thus reducing the country's dependencey on foreign workers and reducing yearly outflow capital."

The Prime Minister also suggested shifting the working hours from morning to night, to make Dirty, Difficult and Dangerous jobs more attractive to locals.
