Government open to criticism
The de-facto Law Minister says it's ok to criticise the government, but not royalty.

Datuk Liew Vui Keong says the Sedition Act will either be repealed or replaced with a new and looser one to allow freedom of speech.
However, defamatory safeguards towards royalty would be maintained.
Liew expects the act to be abolished this year.
Timeline for handover
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has hinted he'll stay on as PM for a maximum of three years.
This comes after he re-confirmed he will not see out a full term, but pass the baton to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Transport Minister has no say in tint application process
The Transport Minister has taken pains to ensure the application process for a full vehicle tint is hard to abuse.
Anthony Loke says all applications go though a special committee chaired by the JPJ's director-general...and he's also taken himself out of the approval process for transparency.

The new vehicle tinting rules allows full tints for security reasons, but the applicant must fulfill several criteria including not having a criminal record.
