May 10, 2019

The govt's proposed Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission, or IPCMC is inching closer to becoming a reality.

The National Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Centre says progress was made following positive talks with senior PDRM members, including new IGP Seri Abdul Hamid Bador.

They discussed PDRM's grievances and the force finally agreed to have the IPCMC set up.

The IPCMC is a police oversight body that investigates police misconduct.
