Report anti-vax doctors

May 14, 2019

Report anti-vax docs

If your doctor is against vaccines... report him or her to the Malaysian Medical Council.

The Health Minister says authorities keep a close eye on the anti-vaccine movement, but don't keep tabs on how many medical professionals support it.

Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad believes dialogue to raise awareness is still the way to go, but anti-vaccination groups cannot be allowed to express their one-sided opinions.

This means that any talks they want to organise must include someone who supports vaccination.

Manhunt for terror suspects

Police are on the hunt for three men, who were part of a home-grown militant group planning massive terror attacks here.

Four suspects have already been arrested.

They had planned to strike non-Muslim houses of worship and several VIPs, allegedly to avenge the death of fireman Muhammad Adib.

In other developments...

Sabah police and Bersih agree there's no evidence of vote-buying in the recent Sandakan by-election.

The police say all they have is a dark and blurry video, while Bersih received a few poor quality photos.

The Entreprenuer Development Minister wants agencies under his ministry to organise sales for Raya.

He suggested for essential items like flour, cooking oil and rice to be sold at below market price, to help the poor prepare for the festivities.

And, the Home Minister says the govt has not received any formal requests to declassify reports on the May 13th race riots.
