The team will analyze Suhakam's recent report on the enforced disappearances and find out what happened to the duo.
Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says he's still deciding on who to appoint to the taskforce, adding that the delay is because they want to ensure that none of the members have prior connections to the case.
Old system could be brought back
The Cabinet could reinstate the old foreign workers replacement system, as tensions rise among employers trying to get foreign help.
The old system allowed employers to apply for a replacement after a worker leaves the country...but after it was discontinued in 2017, employers have had to undergo the tedious normal application process to get replacements.

Human Resources Minister M. Kula Segaran told the Star, reinstating the system will solve 50% of the foreign workers issue.
NRD victim of fake news
The National Registration Department is not involved in the registration of ICs for illegal immigrants in Sabah, as per social media rumours.
It clarified several photos of the registration forms are not official documents.
The NRD will also lodge a police report and urged the public not to believe fake news.
