Measles-afflicted Orang Asli children to be immunised

Orang Asli children in Kampung Kuala Koh who have fallen ill have been given Vitamin A to boost their immunity, after the government confirmed the mysterious disease plaguing the village is actually measles.
The Health Minister says measles carries a less than one percent chance of fatality, but the risk goes up when the victim is malnourished.
All villagers are being immunised and also given counselling to reduce their stress and anxiety.

There are no syndicates kidnapping children for their organs
Malaysians are still falling for fake news about syndicates kidnapping children to harvest their organs, despite the police's best efforts to quash the rumours.
The Deputy IGP says it's not easy to harvest organs and it can only be done by legitimate medical experts.
He also urged the public to stop spreading or sharing fake news, or face action.

Abolition of death penalty for drug offences on hold
The abolition of the death penalty for drug-related offences has been put on hold, pending the outcome of an ongoing court case.
A convicted drug offender is challenging his death penalty, and the government cannot move forward with their abolition plans until that case is settled.
But the removal of the mandatory death sentence for murder is still underway.
