Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant to be up and running again this morning
Jun 27, 2019
More than 370,000 residents in Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat and Sepang are experiencing water supply disruptions.
This is because of the closure of the Sungai Semenyih treatment plant yesterday, due to contamination of the water source.
SYABAS says it expects the plant to be operational again by 11am today, with water supply to be restored within 72 hours of the plant re-opening.
Separately, a burst pipe that caused water disruptions to parts of Shah Alam and Klang yesterday, has already been fixed.
Water supply to the affected areas should be fully restored by today.

Meanwhile, state officials says schools in Pasir Gudang are scheduled to re-open on Sunday, depending on the air quality.
