Alarming concerns about our youths' health

The government is concerned about the health of Malaysian youth.
This is because of the rising number of teenagers suffering from conditions like high cholesterol, high-blood pressure and diabetes.
A 2015 survey, for example, found that 22 percent of Malaysians under the age of 20 had high cholesterol.
To address this, the Health Ministry says it's working on targetting the youth in its prevention and control strategies.

Govt agency employees to enjoy flexi hours

Federal government agencies nationwide will enjoy flexible working hours, starting August 1st.
Officers will be able to start work anytime between 7:30am and 9am, and leave between 4:30 and 6pm.
However, things like counter services will not be affected, because the officers will be instructed to start and finish work at the appropriate time.

Anwar shocked that secretary nabbed in viral video incident

PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he was surprised to hear that his political secretary was one of those detained, in connection with the viral intimate video, allegedly involving a Minister.
Despite the shock, he says the cops must have their reasons for the arrest, and he will leave it to the authorities to conduct their investigations.
