Hundreds and thousands of ringgit were spent on creating the viral intimate videos that have taken Malaysia by storm.
The IGP adds that a political leader was behind the videos, but did not name names.
In an interview with RTM, Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador also explained the police sought the help of CyberSecurity Malaysia to authenticate the videos.
Meanwhile, UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam claims Indonesian experts are also on the case, and believes they will be able to identify the two men in the viral intimate videos.

The Master Builders Association earlier said the construction industry has the highest fatality rate compared to other industries, with up to 40 percent of accidents caused by design failures.
