PKR Senator slammed for proposing law to protect men from being 'seduced' into committing sex crimes

Aug 01, 2019

A PKR Senator is under fire for proposing laws to protect men from being seduced into sexually assaulting women.

Yesterday, former Lumut MP Mohd Imran Abd Hamid told the Senate, the laws would protect men from being seduced into committing incest, rape, molestation, pornography and more.

Deputy Women Minister Hannah Yeoh has lashed out at the proposal, saying even babies and young children can be victims of sexual assault.

The PKR Wanita Chief and All Women's Action Society have also slammed the proposal as victim blaming.

The fight against illegal android boxes might be headed to your home.

The proposal will also apply to homeowners who rent out their homes.

It's also calling for the MCMC to restrict internet access for those found guilty of supporting digital piracy.

Tun M insists Malaysia has no choice but to keep Zakir Naik

The Prime Minister says controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik is not welcome in Malaysia, but we have to keep him.

"We don't want anybody who comes up and expresses extreme views about race relations and other religions. To that extent we cannot have him, on the other hand, it is difficult to send him anywhere else because many countries do not want to have him."

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was speaking in an interview with a Turkish TV Channel, while on a working visit to the country.

Zakir Naik is wanted in India for money laundering, but Malaysia has refused to extradite him.
