As such, they are now going to concentrate their search at a river near the place where she went missing.

They believe that she could be heading towards the river for water as she could be tired.

Sniffer dogs are also being used in the hunt for the teenager, but the dogs have so far been able to only detect her scent about 100 metres from the resort.

The case is still be classified as a missing persons case as there is no evidence to suggest it was a kidnapping.

According to the police, early investigations showed the teenager had opened the window of her room from the inside.

More than 160 personnel comprising the police, Fire and Rescue Department and Rela and are involved in the operation.
