Tun M: No one is being forced to use bike ride-hailing

No one is being forced to use motorcyle ride-hailing.
The Prime Minister says if people don't feel safe, they don't have to use the service as they have other transportation options.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was also candid about the criticisms over the government's proposal to bring Go Jek into the country.

He says as with any project, there will always be people who oppose, but what is important is whether it will serve the country or not.
On another matter, Tun M confirmed that toll collection on the PLUS Highway will continue even if the concessionaire is taken over by another entity.

Maju Holdings is trying to take over PLUS and has offered to lower toll rates.
KLIA slowly returning to normal
The technical glitch at KLIA has been partially resolved this morning.
Malaysia Airports says everything except for the Flight Information Display System is back to normal.

Yesterday's system failure affected all airlines operating out of KLIA and saw 20 flights delayed.
DBP slams renaming of sports program
Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka is taking shots at the Youth and Sports Ministry for renaming Hari Sukan Negara as Malaysia Sports Challenge.
The government is hoping the name change will help attract an international audience, but Dewan Bahasa feels it diminishes the importance of the national language.
It has suggested for the name of the programme to be in dual languages instead, with the BM name given priority.
