PTPTN takes new measure in loan repayments

PTPTN is trying to help borrowers find a job after graduation, so that they can afford to repay their loans. 

It has signed an MOU with three agencies, resulting in the creation of job databases just for PTPTN borrowers. 

The listings will be available on the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia's websites, as well as Job Street.

Govt to add counselors in schools

There will be more counselors in schools soon. 

The Deputy Education Minister said the ratio of counselors to students in Primary schools is only 1 to 350, while it is 1 to 500 in Secondary schools.

Teo Nie Ching was commenting on the case of a teenager in Penang who allegedly committed suicide because of a heavy homework load.

Old pink mini buses are not returning

The mini buses that are making a return to KL's streets will not be those nostalgic pink vehicles. 

Rapid KL assured the new mini buses will be more spacious and air-conditioned, after photos of the old pink buses went viral.
