Haze could last until the end of the month.

You should reduce your outdoor activities and drink plenty of water, due to the haze that's blanketing parts of the country. 

The Met Dept says if you need to go outside, be sure to wear a mask.

It also expects more hazy conditions this coming weeks, as the chances of rain coming down in affected areas is low. 

The Department only expects the situation to improce at the end of the month, when the current monsoon season ends.

The govt is close to tabling a new bill to regulate the use of tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes and shisha.

he Health Ministry says it's now is now wrapping up a study on the issue, and a draft bill is expected to be written soon. 

It expects to table the proposed legislation in parliament by the March 2020 session

The govt will hold talks with relevant stakeholders to extend health insurance coverage for subfertility treatment.

DPM Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail says its because of the high cost of such treatment, which can go up to 12 thousand ringgit. 

Separately, Dr Wan Azizah says she's worried that too many people are becoming addicted to electronic gadgets, to the point that they completely disregard the ‘real world’ around them.
