Selangor water disruption from illegal dumping

The odour pollution that is causing water cuts to over 370,000 people in Selangor was caused by illegal dumping.

Indah Water says the source of the pollution has been found near one of its sewerage treatment plants.

It also strongly denied it is to blame for the latest case of pollution to strike the Semenyih Water Treatment Plant in recent months.

Meanwhile, Syabas says water resumption is at 98% and hopes for complete recovery by 6pm today.
